Jazz Icons

The assignment for this project was to create a deck of 12 cards based around a subject of our choosing. I decided to create a series highlighting some of the greatest jazz musicians of all time. My inspiration was the aesthetic of the classic Blue Note LP covers from the 50s & 60s. I wanted to tie all of the cards together structurally in the way the information is presented, but give each card a sense of individuality through the typography used, trying best to get a feel for each person's style & personality.
